Debra Avila owns and runs an art collection shop in the city of Pattaya in Thailand. Debra recently came back from her religious trip to India and while she was there, she decided to write a book on the revered Indian sage – Baba Gorakhnath. Debra has already started writing the book, she claims that it is almost half complete and she has also published some excerpts from her book on one of her blogs.
Debra writes that it is a pity that the Sikhs give more credibility, respect and reference to Gorakhnath than their Buddhist and Hindu counterparts. Debra writes that it is this credibility, respect and reference of the Sikhs towards Gorakhnath that has made several anthropologists throughout the history believe that Gorakhnath lived in 15th and 16th century, which is completely false.
Debra writes that most of the accounts and research only establish that Gorakhnath lived somewhere between 11th to 13th century. She adds that most likely he lived at the same time as Baba Farid.
Debra also establishes that Gorakhnath was one of the very strong and very first Gorakshaks in India.
Debra’s book is mostly about the criticism of Gorakhnath. She writes that she cannot take Gorakhnath as a real yogi because he didn’t say or do anything to remove the caste system from the land of Indian subcontinent but after reading everything that she could find about him, she says that it only looks like that he used to promote the caste system of India and delighted in it.
Debra claims that her trip to India didn’t have much effect on her spiritual life and she still loves to gamble online as much as she did before and the proof of the same can be found here – 먹튀검증
